One of the best publishing platform for your business site is WordPress that comes with a lot of features. A great design is very important for your company site.
A business design is an interpenetrating mixture of art and science, creativity and technology, in which the main scope is orientating to the users or clients.
One of the best option is to hire someone who will create the theme for you, but it is very expensive and it needs a lot of time. Another option you can choose from a lot of Free or Premium WordPress themes that are a lot in the internet from great web designers and developers.
When you choose a theme be sure that it fits your needs. Make the focus better on functionality and efficiency of resources that results the simplicity using it.
A great Business Themes must have an elegant design with a professional look, easy navigation and the options for easy customization, contact area info, technological elements (3d modeling, flash-animation, etc.) should also be dictated by need and based on the main objective of the site.
I am frequently needing Business-style Wordpress themes for my website designs, and I couldn’t ask for a more perfect resource!

I would probably go with some premium theme and then make some customization. I think its the cheapest solution

As the developer of the Sniff and Spit site, we worked with a client who had very clear ideas on what she wanted. Made it a breezy and she picked up enough about wordpress to make informed decisions along the way.
Custom themes are a good starting point and keep the costs down, but a full working original theme is well worth the time and effort to give the exclusivity.
